Division Accountant

Landscape (Capas, Tarlac)
Responsibilities:

1. Bookkeeping & Financial Recordkeeping

• Maintain and update general ledger entries for daily transactions including sales, purchases, accounts payable, accounts receivable, advances and intercompany transactions.

• Ensure accurate recording of trade transactions, inventory movements, and related adjustments.

• Assist on processing of invoices, receipts, and payments, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to company policies. o Regular monitoring of project revolving fund.

2. Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Provide data for the preparation of financial reports, including identifying trends and discrepancies for further review by the Accounting Manager or Accounting Supervisor.

3. Cost Tracking and Reporting:

• Track costs and revenue for projects, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records.

• Prepare and submit regular financial reports for each project, including cost-to completion estimates, profit margins, and other financial metrics.

4. Accounts Payable & Receivable o Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.

• Assist in preparing payment schedules, and ensure timely and accurate disbursements to suppliers.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor of Science in Accountancy

Experience: At least 2-5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, with a preference for experience in a trading business or related industry.

Skills:

• Proficiency in accounting software such as XERO and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and local tax regulations.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
